We are offering our entire herd for sale. We have priced these goats at a bargain price and are including our two guard dogs and equipment. Package includes 20 breeding age does, of which five are Full Bloods, 4 Full Blood Bucks, 7 doe kids. There are several show quality goats in this herd and all of the breeding age does are capable of producing show quality kids for both association and wether shows. Cow Creek Farm is
located approximately 65 miles south and east of Dallas - Fort Worth in
beautiful East Texas. There are 57 acres of heavily wooded land with pastures, perfect
for goats. We raise registered Boer goats. Our goats "work" for a
living and are supplemented very little with grain. They must survive on
pasture & browse with lots of fresh water and minerals available free choice
at all times with hay in the winter when browse is scarce. The farm is owned by Mike and LeaAnn
Robison, both of whom are former teachers with years of interest in raising
quality animals which made the breeding of Boer goats a natural choice.
Our herd consists of full blood
and percentage Boer goats. We started with some Kiko and Nubian does which we used
for 1/2 blood kids by breeding to a full blood Boer Buck. Over the years we have
achieved our goal of raising beautiful animals that conform to the breed
standards while still being hardy enough to survive and thrive in the pasture.
We sell our animals for Breeding and Show Stock. Many of our show wethers have
done well enough in the ring to help the students that show them earn money for
their education.
